United StatesGifted this to a friend who has a fun game room. He really liked the modern look of the connect 4 with the black, white, and wood accent. A couple things to consider though: the black is hard to see at times when playing. The bottom piece that catches and releases the chips seem to be fragile too. I wished it could swing out vs sliding.
United StatesI purchased this large game so the whole family can be involved in play. While not everyone can actually play at the same time, since this is for 2 players, everyone can watch the action and have opinions as the game play happens! This is well made, comes with the hardware you need to hang the board and the cloth and wood pouch that catches the game chips. The finish and color is done well and beautiful. I think this is a good value!
United StatesSeveral years ago, we bought a giant plastic 4-in-a- row game. It is huge, and we ended up putting it outside.This wooden set is really cool, because it's also big but it goes on a wall, so it's a space saver for a bigger version of 4-in-a-row game. This set works great in a game room, family room, or a play room. This would be a fun addition to an Airbnb. I would be hesitant to put it outside (like a patio), even in a covered area, because I feel like it would warp from moisture/sun damage, etc.Even though this is big, it's also an understated version of the game in a way because of the colors and look of the game. It will look good in a house where people don't want something bright and colorful- kidlike. It's almost a mix of art/home décor and the game. It is a quieter version of the game, because the pieces fall into the cloth pocket not on a table, the floor, etc.I like that they include the (cloth) pocket to catch the game pieces. The game (wooden part) is on the heavier side, so you need to put some care into mounting it on the wall. For the price, I think it could have been sanded better. I look at reviews and noticed varying opinions on the type of wood used for this product in this product's reviews- the product description says it's New Zealand Poplar. They also plant a tree for every purchased game, so that's cool!I look at reviews a lot when shopping. I hope this review helps!
United StatesI absolutely love this! It is well thought out, including the tray underneath to capture the pieces easily.The wood stain is a deep brown and looks great. It doesn't stand on its own, so you have to attach it to a wall, and it is heavy, so you need a good wall to do this.There were some jagged edges and it was hard to get one of the assembly packages out, but once that was out, it is a beautiful, fun addition to family games!I'm looking forward to having this outside this summer.
United Statesso I definitely underestimated the size of this guy. But, it's worth it because it's so much fun both when having people over or just between my partner and I. It definitely makes a statement as well. On top of all that, it is beautifully and thoughtfully made- it's clear that care was put into this fun decor item.

United StatesWho doesn't love the idea of giant "Connect 4" game? It's simple, fast and fun and looks like a cool piece of modern art on the wall. It's sturdy and well constructed too. I am, however, disappointed with the finish work.It's made of plywood, which is fine, but all the big holes seem like they were just drilled out and then stained with no sanding done. They're rough -- splittery rough. They should've been sanded smooth or fitted with some sort of rings to cover the roughness, especially at this price.
United StatesBeautiful product! But, unfortunately, if renting keep in mind it needs sinkers. If you are able to spackle and paint over sinker insertions, perfect! But it was for a room we converted to a game room due to the wall paper and cannot damage. But would totally reconsider this if had the right room.
